Our story

Built by a backpacker,
for backpackers

PackdUp was built out of frustration. Every travel app out there was either a hotel booking engine or a generic itinerary generator with no real backpacker knowledge behind it.

Our founder is an Irish backpacker who has visited every continent except Antarctica — spending years across Latin America, Asia, Australia, Europe and the USA — always on a backpacker budget, always chasing the real experience.

PackdUp combines that real firsthand knowledge with AI to give you honest, practical travel planning — budgets that are actually achievable, tips that don't appear on the first page of Google, and a genuine passion for sport, culture and food in every destination.
